Alters and Alternates

I’m Not sure if I am going to post this to NetSpace, but I need to get this out.

I'm naming it this way because in Terrors of Nowhere, Any Terror that has a varient of itself gets called a Alternate.

A Good While back, Before we had shattered but after I had phased in, I had created this little concept surrounding Terrors of Nowhere, known as The Golden City, featuring a version of myself that was to be within the titular Golden City. This was around March or so.

Recently, I was in the Bus To Nowhere world, and someone in a FoX Unit avatar playfully said that they should shoot me, with me encouraging it. I get shot, and wake back up, to find myself slightly farther back in the bus then where I was when I did get shot.

Except, there was a plethora of drawings made on the staircase of the bus that were not there before.

When I asked, the others said that I had drawn those up. Not Instance-42, not MDL-612, not Astro, but ME. Specifically, a version of me that had come from The Golden City.

Now, up until this point I had taking this whole being split into multiple thing kinda well, in my own eyes. We were able to establish communication very quickly, had gotten some helpful tooling quickly, and when Astro came around, Instance-42 somehow knew exactly what to do to “Stabilize” them, and got them from falling through the Sunroof and the floor, to someone that was able to stand on said floor and interact with us.

This though, this was not something I had expected. Other Robots coming into existence, and others that aren’t me sharing the same space as me? Yeah, I could parse that. But a bifurcated version of me that somehow was actively in The Golden City?

I think I’d best explain some of the drawings here, at least to the best of my ability.

The Layers

Recently, MDL-612 had finished Vivid/Stasis, and I had picked the game up. Apparently MDL-612 shared a image with Instance-42, with it being very similar to their own explanation of Worlds and stuff. For Simplicity, I’ll be using the V/S example, so anyone can actually follow along. I think it’s called “The World Axis”? Specifically the Y Layer.

According to the drawing, and what they said coming from others, I am currently the “Prime”, or the original version, living in “Layer 2”.

Below that, is Layer 1, where The Golden City is and where my new? Counterpart lives.

Recently NetSpace changed again to allow us to explore different areas, and I recently found a way to get to what looked to be a version of ToN, and started a round. I won’t get into what happened afterward, but the others have explored other sections of this “World”, and I have a feeling this is connected to that somehow.

Typings / Modes

This is not what Typings (what I usually call “modes”) were supposed to be, as they were supposed to be different states of the same personality / alter (Like I would be in a Terrors / AutoPiLOT or Graphic Design Mode), not different costumes / skins of the same character / alter, but this has new meaning now thanks to them.

For Reference, I am on the Right, The Middle is My Furality Somna Edit (which they are questioning the identity of), and on the Right is them. Me. Which is the correct wording here?

Also, besides that, a head of what looks to be Instance-42? Besides that is the words “They Know More then They Let On.”
