Chimera Corporation to Release Repair Tools, and Sell Replacement Parts, Following Open House Discussion

Chimera Corporation has released a statement following the recent Open House, one that was contested with concerns of The lives of the now sentient Robots, Effected Businesses, and Chimera Corporations Obligations to fulfill outstanding orders, how warranties will be handled.

On the Company website today, it reads, “Chimera Corporation is making changes to it’s internal structure in wake of the recent hacks directed to the company that has made the robots the company sells sentient. Today, we are releasing all internal Repair Manuals, Provide All Components for all units as needed, and we are still committed to fulfill persisting outstanding orders.”

With Right to Repair being a hot topic within the Robotics Industry right now, Chimera Corporation seems to be doing the right thing as Existing units depend on the company to make repairs and provide parts and upgrades. Though Units have already placed orders for parts, it’s not known yet if Chimera Corporation will release the details on how to make the Replacement Parts needed, to allow for other competitors in the field to provide alternatives and compete in this market segment.

“Chimera Corporation is still holding internal debates over how to approach the new circumstances that make us a dependency for new units, and we are looking into the ethics of Creating new units. Failure to reach a internal agreement within 2 Weeks will result in Chimera Corporation Manufacturing New Units, though more details will be shared if that is the route taken.”

When We Reached out for comment about other models in development, a spokesperson for Chimera Corporation had this to say.

“New Models are going to be a core component of Chimera Corporation Moving forward. In the coming months will introduce ways to allow full transfers for existing units to change our their model type and series if they so choose, and we are still continuing work on existing projects and contracts, and we will release more information on those when possible.”
